Account Manager

A specialist communications consultancy dedicated to the legal services sector is looking for an Account Manager to join its small yet highly motivated team.

The right candidate will be a multi-skilled self-starter who enjoys managing their own varied work load. The successful candidate will have the ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, act with autonomy and work unsupervised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and selling in press releases to a wide variety of broadcast, national, trade and regional media
• Article and blog drafting
• Working with the founders to conceive new creative ideas for client campaigns
• Manage client social media accounts
• Online distribution of media coverage and opportunities to clients
• Responding to adhoc journalist and client requests

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrable PR experience in an in-house or agency role
• Strong copywriting, proof-reading and attention to detail
• Experience or interest in professional services and/or legal services
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• The ability to utilise social media to help businesses, with emphasis on Twitter and LinkedIn
• Experience of using media database
