Our client, a highly successful and growing organisation in the digital print industry, is looking to recruit an experienced manager to head up their team of Account Managers.

This is a brand new position within the company and would suit someone with previous account management and people management experience.

Managing a team of 8 Account Managers, you will also be responsible for looking after some key accounts and working closely with the Business Development team and Operations Managers.

Experience in the digital print industry would be great, but it’s not essential.

This is an office based role, Mon to Fri, in High Wycombe so we are looking for someone who lives locally.

Duties include

  • Oversee and manage the account management team
  • Manage certain key customer accounts
  • Work closely with and support the operations managers
  • Assist with the continual development of the account management team
  • Work closely with the business development team to identify and exploit all existing client opportunities
  • Work closely with the operations directors with the on-boarding of new opportunities
  • Undertake regular client review meetings
  • Assist with tenders and new business opportunities

Skills/Experience

  • Proven account management experience
  • Experienced people manager, able to train, develop and mentor
  • Flexible and diligent
  • Good work ethic and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Works well under pressure and can handle difficult situations
  • Knowledge of print industry is desirable but not essential as training provided
  • Ability to work as part of a team
