Our client is the UK’s number one comparison site for wedding suppliers!
Think Compare The Market meets Trip Advisor for weddings, our client offers couples an efficient and easy to use site to search for and compare their dream suppliers. From Photographers to Pianists, our client’s exclusive little black book makes finding and booking everything they need a simple and stress-free process!
No other UK wedding site offers the same ‘find and compare’ functionality, and they also share a blog and offer a wedding planning tool.
Expansion is in the pipeline. Currently a team of two, they are now looking for a third person to come on-board and play a vital part in the growth and development of the company – this couldn’t be a more exciting opportunity for someone wanting to get into the start-up world!
The Role:
The founders of this company are looking for an ambitious grad to join them as an Account Executive. Working in a start-up at this stage means that your role will be varied and diverse. You’ll be working together to drive the growth of this company, whilst focusing on building and engaging with their community base of suppliers.
Responsibilities:
You’ll have the chance to show initiative and drive development, and the focus of your role will be to continue to build the community base of suppliers. Responsibilities will include:
– Assessing and contacting suitable suppliers.
– Thinking innovatively of how to go about doing this, and executing good ideas.
– Building relationships with suppliers.
– Organising and setting up networking events for suppliers.
– Helping to re-brand a recently acquired new website for launch in the next couple of months.
Training & Progression:
You will be working directly alongside the Directors to build and grow this company, so the opportunity for learning and development is extensive.
Requirements:
– Minimum 2:1 from a top UK university or equivalent.
– A strong desire to work for and drive the growth of a start-up.
– Confident and a great communicator.
– Fantastic phone manner and ability to build relationships.
– Highly driven with an entrepreneurial spirit.
– Some office experience.
Requirements (Preferred):
– A passion for all things wedding related!
– Experience in Events/Catering would be a bonus.
