A leading insurance brand is seeking to hire an Account Executive to join its commercial operation within Nottingham. This firm has become known as a leader in its field after establishing great relationships with employees, insurers and suppliers enabling the firm to develop an enviable client portfolio.

Role Profile

• This role will combine business generation with client management, focussing on business from a range of commercial industry sectors including Leisure, Motor Trade, Professional Services, Property Owners, Haulage and many more paying GWP generally from £12k-£120k
• Clients will typically have a presence within the Midlands, although some travel may be required to meet clients further afield
• Negotiate with MD’s/FD’s regularly
• Provide a high quality service to attract repeat custom
• Use a range of methods to attract business opportunities from attending industry trade shows, networking events, referrals and more

Candidate Profile

• The ideal applicant will have experience from an insurance background selling to commercial clients, coupled with a technical knowledge within commercial insurance
• Industry recognised qualifications or progression towards would be desirable although not a necessity as experience is more relevant for the role
• Confident communicator with an ability to liaise at ease with senior managers and company owners
• Good understanding of MS software and possess a winning attitude
