Account Executive
Full job description
Nu-Recruit Limited
Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year
We’re recruiting an Account Executive for an established & very reputable Marketing & Design Agency based Chester.
The Account Executive will be responsible for keeping clients (& your Account Director who you’ll closely assist in the project-led role) happy: delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards, meeting the client’s brief and all internal milestones along the way.
A well supported & exciting Account Executive role & we envisage a candidate in the early stages of their career (maybe even working at Apprentice level) who very much wants to take the next step & progress & develop their love of Marketing, project & client relationship experience in a reputable & established Agency.
The successful applicant will join a solid team who want to invest, mentor & build your career. In return you’ll need to be pretty confident with superb communication skills, tenacity, enthusiasm, drive & ideally a have a genuine interest in the world & work of Marketing / Design.
Ideally we seek applicants with either relevant work experience (maybe at a starter level in a Marketing Dept / Agency Account management / Digital Marketing) or with a Marketing or Business Studies degree.
We’re not ‘hung up’ on preferring either route but if you have a non Marketing Degree (or similar), as with the work background, we’d again like to see some Marketing or Design work or interest or angle.
This Agency deals with top-notch clients & projects, both in the UK & internationally (& there will be opportunities for international travel). They work in Digital & Print mediums across multiple platforms, such as exhibitions, websites, video & creative campaigns & the Account Executive will be expected to support & assist delivery of those projects.
The Account Executive role
• Supporting the Account Managers & Directors on larger-scale projects as well as personally managing smaller accounts
• Show an understanding of client businesses/products & be able to confidently discuss them
• Establish & grow client relationships, both new and existing
• Research locations for events & offer ideas for meetings & delegate entertainment
• Engage with design team on a daily basis, keeping a good handle on your projects
• Keep a log of time spent on specific tasks each day
• Liaise with suppliers & event organisers, managing & communicating deadlines both internally & externally to clients
• Create and update project plans & task lists
Skills:
It goes without saying that you’ll need to be familiar & confident with IT systems. Some Marketing / CRM or design suite knowledge or interest would be advantage but not essential. A new MacBook Air comes with the job!
• High level of organisation with an excellent eye for detail
• An understanding (either through work or genuine interest) of branding, design, digital & marketing processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritise & deliver well under pressure
• Adopt an open-minded attitude to change, and be quick to learn & implement new ideas
• Full UK driving licence & a willingness to travel (sometimes out of hours) to exhibitions & events
The successful Account Executive candidate will come with some Marketing & account management background or ‘interest’ but essentially we need to see that team fit. They’re a very solid team of long serving employees & they want to welcome a tenacious, bright, curious candidate who can very much add & grow from this role.
Stunning offices. Great location & a brilliant team of warm, supportive & very successful established people who really love their jobs & excel in their field!
