LAVERY ROWE ADVERTISING – ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

The Company:

Lavery Rowe Advertising is an award-winning full-service advertising agency based in London SE1 with over 40 years’ expertise in creating, producing and placing press ads within national newspapers and consumer magazines. We also have fast growing TV and Digital divisions.

The business is owned by the employees via an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

Our busy Advertising Account Executives plan and buy approximately £30 million of advertising space on behalf of our clients each year. Our in-house design studio produces over 1,000 press advertisements per month.

Owing to continued expansion of our business we are looking for an Advertising Account Executive to join our busy Account Management Team

The Job:

Each Account Executive is responsible for their own portfolio of clients. The job of the Account Executive is to understand their clients’ business and their advertising requirements. Their advertising requirements will encompass both the client’s creative and media needs.

The Account Executive is required to brief our Creative Teams to develop new press advertising and to plan and buy media space on behalf of the clients. This requires negotiating the best price for the media on behalf of the client.

The Account Executive is responsible for the on time, on budget execution of each ad campaign and ensuring the campaign meets the client’s expectations as regards generating direct sales or leads.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum educated to A level standard or equivalent plus 5 x GCSE at Grade C or above including Maths and English

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good literacy skills
• Good computer skills especially Excel, Powerpoint
• Ability to work under pressure to fixed deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Good organisational skills
• Good time management
• Good telephone manner and personal presentation skills

Experience

Full on job training will be given however, experience of working in a target driven media business would be an advantage.
