Account Director, Solutions Sales Hunter, Farmer

My client are an established, global player in the Consulting/Technology Solutions market place with a market leading portfolio of solutions and services across Hybrid Cloud, Big Data, Analytics, IoT, Application Development, Testing, Oracle Fusion and more.
We are looking for 2 Account Directors to drive revenues from 3 of the tier 1 accounts, whilst helping develop the tier 2 and tier 3 accounts into tier 1.
In total there are 15 key accounts with over £60m in NEW SALES in the last financial year, you will own 3 of these and will carry a sales (not revenue) target commensurate to this.
You will be a “hunter” by make-up and attitude, but with the relationship and farming skills of a key account director, comfortable building on relationships in a small number key accounts. My client works across industries so a focus in one vertical is not necessary, but the main areas they work in are; Utilities, Banking, Transportation, Retail and Manufacturing, so it’s helpful to have sold in these but not essential. Not at the expense of the core background/skillset we seek.

The successful candidate
Background in enterprise sales AND account management, ideally with both big company and small company experience in their career
Carried and Delivered multi £m targets for IT solution sales, able to evangelise technology to address a clients business challenges
Demonstrable experience of the mechanics of “account management” – account planning, reviews, forecasting, reporting, RFI, RFP etc Fantastic career opportunity.
