Account Director (Amazon Advertising)

Salary: £66,000 per year

Based in Glasgow or remotely in the UK or Europe.

• A Global Advertising and Marketing Agency with teams based in USA, UK and the Far East.
• They specialize in helping major Brands develop Advertising and marketing Strategies leveraging Data to grow their retail sales on Amazon.

• Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking for an Account Director based in Glasgow or remotely in the UK or Europe.

The Role

• Spearheading a team of talented and passionate Account Managers and Advertising Specialists together you will deliver the outcomes their clients depend on them for.
• Focusing mainly on New to Market to Mid-Tier clients.
• Leading all forms of strategic client communication. 
• Conducting quarterly business reviews, client reviews and confirming advertising budgets. 
• Developing media plans, presenting to clients and working closely with the Business Development team.
• Looking for and generating new opportunities to support our clients in maximizing their brand’s potential.
• Developing strategies to deepen the client relationship. 
• Working closely with Account Managers, you ensure that the delivery of your carefully constructed strategy is fully executed with budgets effectively managed and campaigns fully optimized. 
• Partner with Finance teams to insure accurate and on time client invoicing.
• Drive the development of your team, providing challenging and stretching tasks.
• Conducting regular team performance focused conversations and acting as a strong coach and mentor to them.
• Laying out work plans in a clear and organized manner while maintaining a two-way dialogue with others on work and results. 
• Observing society and trends, specifically amongst the target audiences of your clients. 

You will require 

• Experience of Amazon Advertising (Amazon PPC / Amazon ad) with exposure to Demand Side Platform (DSP).
• Minimum of 4 years of Marketing or Advertising experience in a fast moving, client facing environment.
• Fluency in English and another language would be a distinct advantage but not a prerequisite.
• Experience of leading high performing teams and developing talented individuals.
• Key account management experience.
• Strong analytical and qualitative skills.
• Experienced at driving, revenue, fostering new relationships and deepening existing ones.
• You will be highly commercial, industry savvy and fully focused on maximizing revenue.
• You know the competition and are aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
• You are a keen observer of society and trends, specifically amongst the target audiences of your clients.
