Account Director: B2B
Our client is global B2B Marketing PR Agency who is presently recruiting for an experienced Account Director to join a rapidly growing team in London.
The ideal candidate will develop, execute and lead global strategic marketing/public relations plans (print and online) within a global community of PR professionals. You will also work closely with Senior Management in London to ensure processes run smoothly and are in line with the New York office.
Tasks:
Directing 4-5 European and/or global account teams
Providing strategic direction to account team members to ensure programs satisfy client goals/expectations
Implementing agency business plans and monitoring profitability on accounts
Leading selection and reviewing of staff, and training to ensure professional growth of junior staff members
Training staff on content development
Supervising and directing 3-4 European and/or global account teams
Project managing account teams, including assigning of tasks and delegating responsibilities
Developing and planning staff work schedules
Building and growing relationships with key clients and target media
Writing and reviewing content for various clients
Directing customer relationship management efforts
Ensuring teams product high-value, relevant publicity to support client programs
Participating in business development efforts, including finding leads and developing proposals and programs
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum PR agency experience (B2B background preffered) 4-6 years for Senior Account Manager and 7 years for Account Director
Exceptional writing and editing ability in English, and a keen eye for detail
Experience with pan-European business management
Experience in the trade media market
Strong organisational skills and structured working style
Ability to develop strategic plans to support and consult clients at a high level
Ability to st up account management plans to ensure execution of client projects on time
Interest/experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing, PR and media strategies (print and online)
Open-minded communication style and motivation to work and interact in a multicultural environment
Ability to travel
A demonstrable passion, interest and experience in Technology or Healthcare including social media.
