As an Account Director, you will be responsible for driving growth in business partnerships, establishing and maintaining professional business relationships, expedite our clients contract participation, and align their service-line solutions for the benefit of assigned members.

You will also serve as a trusted advisor; engaging with member executives on a regular basis for the purpose of reducing costs, improving quality, promoting standardisation and eliminating wast

The Role

  • Remote/ field based (predominantly based in Southern England)
  • Salary: Up to £78k

Key Duties

  • Onboarding and Implementation
    • Work with new members and vendor partners to facilitate contract access and conversions.
  • Planning
    • Develop member-specific strategic business plans- including SWOT analysis, leadership engagement, contract penetration/compliance, sales, new business development, etc.
  • Analytics
    • Utilise supplier reported data and member spend data (via InSight or distributors) to identify compliance, conversion and tier max opportunities.
  • Sales and Account Management
    • Implement member-specific strategic business plans, driving successful results to goals. Complete regular updates of related activities in Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) tool.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experience in local government procurement
  • Experience in senior stakeholder/account management within the public sector
  • Track record of delivering and exceeding targets in a difficult environment with multiple stakeholder
  • Evidence of impactful negotiation and influencing skills to deliver outcomes
