FireMon
The primary objective of the Account Development Representative is to initiate the sales process with prospective customers to help FireMon reach our revenue goals. Account Development Representatives engage our prospects to identify challenges, uncover business drivers, and help our prospects review and evaluate FireMon’s solution suite. In addition, the Account Development Representative will support a Regional Account Manager along with Channel Partners for all new and existing customer relationships in a given geographic territory.
The Account Development Representative will work in FireMon’s London office with travel estimated at 0-10%.
Responsibilities
As one of FireMon’s first lines of communication with our clients, the Account Development Representative serves a vital role in our continued growth and success as a software provider.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Meet or exceed territory and company revenue goals consistently
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of FireMon solutions, industry trends, and competition
- Follow-up and follow-through on inbound leads (including evaluation requests submitted through the company website) and leads generated by various marketing activities (webcasts, trade shows, Partner events, etc.)
- Conduct pre-call research to gather company and contact information
- Make daily outbound calls to prospects to initiate and nurture meaningful business relationships and to uncover new opportunities
- Ask purposeful questions and listen attentively to prospects to identify key business issues and drivers
- Effectively present the value of FireMon and our unique differentiators to qualified prospects using web-based presentation tools
- Utilize FireMon’s consultative selling approach to develop proposals that link a prospect’s required capabilities with our solutions
- Work closely and collaboratively with a FireMon Regional Account Manager and Channel Partners within a geographic territory
- Ability to leverage a team of Sales Engineers for online solution demonstrations and to address technical questions
- Coordinate with Marketing team and Channel Partners on implementing integrated sales and email marketing campaigns
- Maintain accurate account, contact, activity, and opportunity information within the company’s CRM system (NetSuite)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Highly self-motivated and driven by achieving individual and team goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Professional, responsible, and disciplined with a powerful work ethic
- Easily adaptable (“audible ready”) to a dynamic environment
- Positive attitude, team oriented, social and fun to work with
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Experience working with an offshore development team and a full understanding of the development lifecycle
- Extensive experience required as a project supervisor including scheduling and team coordination
- Knowledgable in IT security and firewall management
- Works well autonomously and has the ability to deliver in high pressure environments
- Proficient in NetSuite CRM
- Security intelligence software experience and familiarity with industry and primary competitors
- Lead generation experience leveraging various sales and social media tools (LinkedIn, Pardot, RainKing, etc.)
- Extensive inside sales experience (or related outside sales, channel sales or sales development experience), preferably in the software or technology industry, with proven track record of consistently achieving goals and/or quota
- Ideal candidate will have extensive experience selling enterprise-level software solutions with an excellent understanding of relating the technology’s value to a customer’s business needs
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or German is a plus
