Optimum Education Resourcing are recruiting! We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for our client school in Wigan. The position is long-term and will commence after the half term.
This ‘Outstanding’ primary school is seeking a Teaching Assistant for their Y2 class, who will work as a whole class Teaching Assistant, supporting the class Teacher. The school has an incredibly supportive team and both staff and pupils alike are extremely proud of their school and community.
The role of a Teaching Assistant includes:
* Working on a 1-1 basis, whole class or with a small group of pupils’, identified by the class Teacher (on this occasion, it will be whole class).
* Working collaboratively with the SENDCo.
* A nurturing and positive character is essential, along with demonstrating empathy.
* There may be some occasions when you will accompany a pupil/s to an off-site learning site.
* The ability to make a difference to each pupils’ learning journey and ensure each pupil is engaged in their learning.

To join Optimum Education Resourcing and work in our client school as a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Have experience supporting pupils across Key Stages EYFS-2 or relevant youth work
* Hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
* Have an Enhanced DBS (on the update service)
* Have CV covering your last 10 years of employment
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
* Proof of identification
* An overseas police check, if applicable
* Two references (covering the last two years)
