7.5t Driver

Interaction Recruitment are looking for a 7.5t Delivery driver for an ongoing vacancy with the potential to go full time for the right candidate. You will be working Monday to Friday, start times are around 06:00 each day. You will go out with one of the companies own full time drivers for your first days as training and then you will be going out and doing the job yourself. This is a nice company to work for and they are based in the Huntingdon area.

You will need a 7.5t UK licence, a full and current drivers CPC and a digi-tach card. Please email me on and I will give you a call to come and register. I am looking for people available from Monday 23rd of May and ongoing.

Key Responsibilities will include

• Report to Transport at the start of the Shift

• Adhere to Signing in and Out procedure

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork

• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures including all aspects of Health and Safety

• Maintain a good working knowledge of Operations within the transport department

• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance

• Effectively manage own working time Directive covering all Legislation

• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times

• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with the company procedure

• Make deliveries to customers premises acting in a professional manner at all times

• Immediately report any problems regarding delivery, ie arrival times, delays or discrepancies with roads

• Ensure good communication with the transport office

• Observe and adhere site procedures at each delivery point

• Ensure correct completion of any defect report
