7.5t Driver

Interaction Recruitment are looking for two 7.5t Drivers for ongoing work with a local company in Huntingdon doing local deliveries. The hours of work will be from around 06:00 and will have finishing times around 14:00 – 15:00. The company are a lovely company to work for and there is ongoing temporary work available the days of work are from Monday to Friday so you will have sensible start and finish times and your weekends to yourself.

Candidates for this job must have a full UK 7.5t driving licence, a current Drivers CPC and a digi-tacho card. Key Responsibilities will include

• Report to Transport at the start of the Shift

• Adhere to Signing in and Out procedure

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork

• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures including all aspects of Health and Safety

• Maintain a good working knowledge of Operations within the transport department

• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance

• Effectively manage own working time Directive covering all Legislation

• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times

• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with the company procedure

• Make deliveries to customers premises acting in a professional manner at all times

• Immediately report any problems regarding delivery, ie arrival times, delays or discrepancies with roads

• Ensure good communication with the transport office

• Observe and adhere site procedures at each delivery point

• Ensure correct completion of any defect report
