7.5 Tonne Parcel Delivery Driver

Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Parcel Delivery & Collection Lorry Driver ( With Digi Tacho and CPC)

Location: Aldershot

Pay- From £26,000 per year (higher rate up to £12.00 for overtime/ nights). Pay increases with service to a minimum of £26,000 per year.

7.5 Tonne Driver required for an ongoing temporary contract for a Parcel Delivery company in Aldershot, Hampshire

Typical hours are 9am-6pm/ 11pm-8pm/ 2pm-11pm Monday- Friday. Anyone applying should be flexible in terms of hours as some weeks you would be working nights, and some weeks you would be working days.. You will also be expected to assist in other area’s of the business such as van driving & in the warehouse as and when required (Salary: s vary)

The role is to trunk parcels from the clients premises in Aldershot to other locations in the South/ London. A shift is usually 8-10 hours

This role will start in a few weeks time, and will continue for the rest of this year. The best Drivers are likely to be retained for work in 2016 and could possibly be offered a permanent position

A minimum of 6 months 7.5 Tonne lorry driving experience is essential, as well as having a digi tacho card.

For insurance purposes, applicants must be over 23 have no more than 6 points on their driving licence.

Due to the nature of the role, the company requires an in depth security clearance check and 5 years of residency. Anyone who can not provide this information will automatically be rejected

Applicants must be able to safely lift parcels up to 30kg, and be confident in driving a 7.5T vehicle in both urban and rural areas.
