7.5 Tonne Drivers – Immediate Start!

Our client is a reputable Blue Chip Company, long established in the Online Delivery sector. They are looking for experienced 7.5 tonne drivers for ongoing work. The role is based in Dartford and you will be required to deliver luxury goods – ranging from pillows and bedding right through to white goods.

The role requires someone who is able and willing and has a good knowledge and experience in Customer Service. You will be part of a 2 man team and be used to heavy lifting. The working week is Monday to Saturday and shifts are 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00, however a flexible approach to overtime is preferable, depending on the business need. With a degree of flexibility relating to working on Saturdays appreciated.

The following is essential:
• Must hold a valid 7.5 tonne (C1) Licence
• Must hold a valid CPC card
• Must hold and have experience in using a Digital Tacho Card

Candidates will ideally have the following:
• Experience in Customer Service
• Own transport to get to and from work
• Good general geographical knowledge
• Good knowledge of health & safety
• Live locally to Dartford

As a professional driver it is essential that you adhere to tachograph rules at all times and report any vehicle defects to management and assist in any yard or other loading/unloading duties. Experience is preferred, however training will be provided.
