You will be responsible for, Troubleshooting Incidents and Problems raised and assigned to the candidate, Ensuring customers and 3rd parties are kept up to date. Proactive ownership of Incidents. Providing and documenting resolution fixes.
Technical Skills and Experience required
Previous experience in a Service Desk \ Technical Support environment, preferably with Managed Services experience.
Use of troubleshooting tools such as Resource Monitor, Process Monitor, Citrix EdgeSight, Microsoft SCOM, Wireshark etc.
A good knowledge of the following technologies is essential:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2
Microsoft Windows XP, 7
Citrix XenApp 4.x/5.x/6.x
Citrix XenDesktop 4.x/5.x
Active Directory and Group Policy
DNS and DHCP
Microsoft Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services
