3rd Line Server Technical Support – Data Centre Engineer

3rd Line Server Technical Support – Data Centre Engineer – Windows Server Architect – Server Administrator based on Surrey & London border. I am seeking an experienced 3rd Line operation support within Wintel Windows 2000 / 2003 environment. This 3rd Line Server Technical Support – Data Center Engineer – Windows Server Architect – Server Administrator involves Active Directory, DNS, VMware ESX Cluster, Citrix (ideally CCA certified), Microsoft Exchange, SQL server, Veritas Netbackup, ITIL. This role would suit someone with good Active Directory / DNS design & management experience gained in multi-site, multi-domain environment. My Client would welcome applications from experience IT professional who are MCSE / MCITP (Windows 2008) qualified or a VMWare Certified Professional or Citrix Certified Administrator.

This 3rd Line Server Technical Support – Data Centre Engineer – Windows Server Architect – Server Administratoris responsible for the support, development & management of the IT infrastructure requirements and objectives covering 2nd and 3rd Line Server Support duties. This role could be undertaken by a Server Support specialist, 3rd Line Support, Server Support Engineer, Data Centre support, Data Center Support specialist with strong VMware & Citrix experience.

Key Skills – 3rd Line Server Support, Windows 2000 / 2003, AD / Active Directory, (ideally CCA certified), VMWare, Citrix and IIS, SQL server, Veritas Netbackup, ITIL principles, Anti-Virus Systems.

Technical Responsibilities
Accountable for the Windows servers and infrastructure
Accountable for the Windows domains and DNS
Windows desktop configuration and manageability
System back-ups and procedures for all data, including recovery testing
Anti-virus systems, including design, development, operation & maintenance
Citrix servers (XenApp, Web Interface) & Citrix farms
VMWare ESX Cluster and building of Citrix farms from the ground up
