3rd Line IT Support Engineer / Server/ Infrastructure / Project

A reputable IT Support consultancy based in Twickenham require a 3rd Line Technical Engineer to provide implementation and support to their customer base within the Greater London area.

To be suitable or this role you will demonstrate the following experience:

– Leading & planning projects i.e. server installation & migrations
– Manage & implement customer site to site VPN’s using Cisco and other IPSec equipment
– Strong understanding of TCP/IP networks, port forwarding and firewall rules
– DNS
– Exchange management skills
– Active Directory
– Desktop & Application support in a Windows / Microsoft Office environment
– Repairs & Upgrades
– Anti-virus
– Advanced diagnosis on PC’s, peripherals & applications
– Advise clients on specifications of hardware, applications & operating systems according to user requirements
– Training & mentoring junior IT support engineers

My client is looking for candidates with professionalism, dedication and strong communication skills. As a Senior Field Engineer you will be liaising with high end Managers and Company Directors so professionalism and is a must.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £39,600- £45,600 (this may be negotiable for exceptional candidates).
