3D Product Designer – Home Accessories – Internship

This is an exciting opportunity for to start a career as 3D Product Designer to be involved in new development projects to create new and exciting products for our customers. As a 3D Product Designer you will work closely with Buyers to create style trends for the category and to agree products – key category is Home Accessories.

You will assist in research and identify new product development opportunities by monitoring competitor and customer and market activities. In addition to that you will assist in trend prediction reports to fit in with category strategies, create trend boards and presentation packs as well as conceptual and line level design briefs and originate supporting technical briefs as required.

As a 3D Product Designer your main responsibilities will be to:

• Deliver in-house design projects related to textiles within Home Accessories category. Liaise with and advise key stakeholders in order to ensure briefs are delivered in-line with Buyers critical path.
• Assist with research and identification of new product development opportunities as a result of monitoring competitor, customer and market activities and clearly present findings.
• Responsible for cataloguing design briefs and design work. Manage and maintain the design tracker to record financial benefits and brief conversion rate.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design briefs meet business needs.

As a 3D Product Designer your skills & experience will ideally include:

• Educated and qualified to at least degree level in a design related subject
• Knowledge of following design software: Rhino or Solid Edge.
• Ability to work independently and owning processes.
• Strong communication skills.
