3.5t HGV Drivers – Large Global Client

Regular work for a household name; based in Hermiston Gate Edinburgh.
Guaranteed increase in hourly rate after 12 & 26 weeks of service. Flexible start and finish times. Well maintained vehicles

Client Description:

This client, based in Hermiston Gate, Edinburgh, is an international company with distribution centres worldwide. They are the market leaders in their field as they only choose to use the best people. This role is for van drivers to deliver parcels to customers’ premises, so some physical work will be required. The drivers are also expected to be well presented, professional and courteous at all time. As such, previous experience in a customer orientated role is essential as is experience in delivering goods in a high volume environment. In return this client will pay above industry average rates right from the start, which increase to £26,000 – £26,598 after 12 weeks of service.

Key Duties:

Delivery and collections of parcels to and from customers’ premises
Completion of relevant paperwork and any security aspects of the role
Display integrity and honesty at all times
Basic vehicle maintenanceSkills Required:

Experience in multi drop
Must pass a Criminal records check
Must be reliable and trustworthy
Good timekeeping
Positive interaction with any stakeholdersBenefits to the role:

After 12 weeks, this company will be paying the Pay parity rate. There is a further pay increase after 26 weeks.
This role is expected to last way until after Christmas.

This role will be based in Hermiston Gate, Edinburgh, EH11 4XX. Start and finish times are 24/7 dependent on client requirements. Please do not apply if you do not have any multi drop experience.
