Driver – HGV Class 2

If you’re HGV qualified,. We have vacancies for Temporary to Permanent to work at the Regional Distribution Centre in Barnsley.

First and foremost, you’re a team player who appreciates how we all need to work together to keep things running smoothly. You’re also a problem-solver: someone who can keep their cool and find solutions even under pressure.

Crucially, you’ll need a full, valid, clean Class 2 HGV licence.

Your duties will include:

A Full Class 2 Licence
HGV Driving work done for at least 90 days in the last 180
No more than 6 points on your driving licence,
Digi Tacho Card and a good understanding of the Working Time Regulations.
Flexible attitude to work
Monday – Saturday
Typical Start times 04:00 am
Multi Drop work
You will be required strap down your load.
There will be some handballed deliveries
Varied deliveries to DC’s, domestic & Commercial premises

Opportunities available include working days to suit:

Positions are offered on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis
Contracts are full time, working 4 on 2 off, which includes working on Saturday
Overtime will be paid after 45hrs at time and half

To be considered for the role of driver you must have:

Class 2 HGV licence
No more than 6 points – No DR or IN codes
Full CPC
Drivers Digi Card
Full knowledge of vehicle
