This 2nd Line technical support role is with a growing I.T support company based in the city centre of Nottingham who provide standard and bespoke I.T support packages. They deal with a variety of different industries and sectors.
The successful candidate for this role will need to be able to work as part of a dynamic team, and also on-site at clients premises, on their own, without supervision. A Full UK Driving License and your own transport are essential.
The role involves providing IT Technical support over a wide range of technologies including:
- Microsoft Windows Servers
- Windows Desktop (from Windows XP through Windows 7)
- MS Office
- Microsoft Virtualisation Technologies
- Microsoft Exchange
- Mac Technologies
- Printers
- Wireless Technologies
- Networking
A good standard of competency is required in networking, and a command of either SQL or DPM.
They are looking for an experienced candidate with a strong current skill set, however further training will also be offered. The interview process will involve a technical test, so please be prepared for this.
Experience / Skills Required:
- Experience in a 2nd line support role with experience of the above technologies is essential
- Experience of visiting clients on-site is preferred
- Experience and knowledge of networking is essential
- Full UK Driving License and own transport is essential
- Good team work skills and customer service skills are also essential
Previous experience of working within a medium/small enterprise is advantageous.
