2nd Line Field Engineer, 2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer

£25-33,000 per annum

An established, dynamic and ambitious technology company based in Bracknell Berkshire is actively seeking an experienced2nd Line Helpdesk Support Engineer to support client sites around the UK providing second line support and implementations on a range of technologies -Windows7/8, Windows Server 2008 administration and network implementation and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will remotely diagnose IT problems and resolve them efficiently and quickly.

• Install and configure workstations, HP/Dell/IBM servers, NAS appliances, Cisco/HP/Netgear switches, Cisco/Draytek routers and various firewall appliances (Juniper, GNATBox, Cisco and Barracuda)
• Install and configure Barracuda Networks family of appliances (Webfilter, NG firewall, Spam Firewall, Message Archiver)
• Install and configure Cloud Service applications from Symantec, Soonr, GFI, Bytesize Backups and Thinkgrid cloud platform
• There will be a requirement for some evening and weekend work

• Exchange Server 2007, 2010, 2013
• Windows Vista, 7 and 8
• Cisco IOS
• Blackberry Enterprise Server
• Kaspersky Antivirus
• Sharepoint
• IIS, DNS, DHCP, RRAS

You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to follow processes and procedures. You must have excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work on your own initiative and thrive under pressure. Teamwork is key and you will have good interpersonal and customer skills.
