2nd Line Engineer Urgent

2nd Line – Contract – £15-£18 – Active Directory – Exchange – Office 365 –

I am urgently looking for a 2nd Line Engineer for a three month contract based in Leeds. The role will have a view to go permanent at the end of the contract length and offers amazing prospects for growth and progression.

This is a high profile client in Leeds, with exceptional branding and IT structure. Now looking to start someone immediately on their helpdesk, only candidates looking to start a role ASAP need apply.

Duties:

Call logging and management including prioritisation of calls, updating users of progress, primary support for logged calls and referral of more technical calls as appropriate. Assist with configuring hardware and software according to requirements

Assist with carrying out installations of PC/Server based software, hardware, parts etc
On-site support, in particular repairing workstations in-house
Maintain Hardware and Software records, perform regular Audits and checks on computers and laptops
Travel to other offices to install new hardware, solve ICT issues and deliver a regular ICT surgery
Ensure the current versions of virus scanning software and Office are installed on all machines

Skills Required:
Experience of a Small/Medium enterprise ICT support environment.
Experience of Infrastructure support including Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Firewalls, Anti-virus, VPN/WAN, Routers, Switches and TCP/IP essential

Experience in setting up and configuring consumer electrical equipment
The candidate will be a confident individual with good interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels and communicate to users in a clear, non-technical manner. The candidate will be logical and enthusiastic about IT.
