For this post you should be a dedicated graduate who has the skills to display remarkable communication skills. The school want to meet applicants who have an infectious enthusiasm that will help all their students enjoy learning and accelerate progression. You will be a graduate who can spend some extra time helping teachers run a variety of exciting after school and lunchtime clubs.

About the Primary Teaching Assistant Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant you will be working in different functions across the whole school. Your duties will include running intervention classes for small groups of pupils to ensure they are on track with their targets. You will be guiding pupils with a statement of SEN through their academic and social development. You will be working with 2 pupils in particular, 1 Year 4 boy with Autism and and a Year 5 boy with EBD in the afternoon. The skill of being a Primary teaching Assistant in this setting is that you have to be versatile and be prepared for no one day to ever be the same.
