2nd/3rd Line Support/ Trade Support/ Windows XP/7/2003/2008

2nd/3rd line Application Support Analyst needed for a leading trading systems company based in the City of London. My client are one of the main suppliers of trading systems in the world and are looking to add two Application Support Analyst to their team. You will ideally come from a background supporting applications in a trading environment/financial environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 1st/2nd line support analyst to develop their skills in a highly technical environment. You will be given pay reviews every 6 months to ensure you grow within the company.

Key skills:

Essential

• Practical experience of troubleshooting applications
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP/DNS)
• Working knowledge of Windows XP/7/2003/2008
• Working knowledge of SQL Server 2008/R2
• Ability to manage time, prioritise work, work under pressure and complete multiple tasks effectively
• Demonstrate a passion for technology and the ability to pick knowledge up quickly; a fast learner

Desirable

• Experience/theoretical knowledge of SQL Server
• A Computer Science or other IT-related degree
