24/7 French Speaking Security Analyst/Engineer

Our client is a market leading IT Security Company and part of one of the world’s largest organisations. Employees work across varying assignments and projects, and are at the cutting edge of technology. They are currently seeking a French speaking Security Analyst/Engineer to join their dynamic and fast paced European Security Operations team on a full time permanent basis.

The Security Analyst/Engineer will be responsible for providing quality support in a timely and professional manner and must have fluent French and English language skills. The team are available to clients 24/7 so the ideal candidate will need to be flexible and comfortable working an alternating 12 hour shift pattern.

Main responsibilities:

– Delivering quality customer support in alignment with SLAs

– Reviewing and resolving all service requests/tickets

– Completing change requests

– Developing strong client relations through building a professional and friendly rapport

– Adhering to all call management processes and procedures

– Ensuring all documentation is accurate

– Demonstrating a consistently high level of commitment to the team and customers

– Providing out of hours support on a rotational basis

Experience/qualifications required:

– Fluency in French and English

– Experience within a similar role, ideally within the IT Security Sector

– Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking

– Knowledge on any of the following – Firewalls, Content Scanners/ Proxies or IDS systems

– Knowledge of Unix (Solaris, Linux, BSD) and/or Windows (2000, 2003, 2008)

– Excellent communication skills

– Experience of products from vendors such as Checkpoint, Juniper, F5, Bluecoat, Palo Alto, Cisco, Crossbeam, ISS, Sourcefire

– Excellent problem solving skills

– Strong team player

This is a full time permanent position and is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company at the forefront of their industry. The hours are 4 days on and 4 days off, shifts are 12 hours and are typically 7 until 7 with alternating day and night shifts every two weeks.
