2 X Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers

Working a four on, four off shift pattern (four days, four nights), the two incoming candidates will be required to undertake preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance in line with PPM schedules – on all production and plant equipment. You will ensure that Health and Safety and Quality procedures are followed, ensuring that standards are maintained i.e. work in a tidy, clean, safe, structured and professional manner.

Strong communication skills are required – as you must ensure that the Engineering Supervisor, Packaging Managers and Engineers on shift are up-dated on latest developments / situations and any other relevant information on a regular basis, as well as making sure that you take the lead on communication at handover to the oncoming shift Engineers.

Candidates must have extensive experience of working within an automated FMCG environment, working with processing and packaging machinery – ideally possessing a Mechanical qualification City & Guilds or NVQ L3 equivalent and an Electrical qualification City & Guilds or NVQ L3 equivalent. 17th edition electrical qualification is essential. Experience of troubleshooting and resolving PLC and Robotic issues are essential, too.
