Our client, an award winning, independent digital agency is seeking a First Line Support Engineer to support the day-to-day operations of the business. They are offering ongoing training and career progression into DevOps or into Software Engineering.

Day to day responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Work to resolve 1st line support tickets within our SLA solve times
  • Works closely with developers on 2nd line support to resolve more complex tickets
  • Proactively monitors our internal systems and our client’s solutions
  • Purchasing and deploying new hardware to our employees
  • Actively involved in supporting and implementing our ongoing information security program
  • Work alongside our development team to learn and take on cloud DevOps skills such as deployment, monitoring and automation

Key requirements:

  • Professional working experience working on 1st line support managing a ticketing system
  • Experience supporting Windows and Mac internal users with day-to-day IT issues
  • High level of self-organisation and proactivity
  • Has hands on experience with the setup and maintenance of IT hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices including password management, encryption, phishing, and system hardening
  • Good communicator with customer centric approach focussed on delivering a great support experience throughout lifetime of tickets

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary up to £36k
