A fast growing IT software company, headquartered in Southampton, are currently looking for a temp to perm 1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst/Helpdesk Advisor due to their continued expansion and on-going success. The successful 1st Line Support Analyst/Helpdesk Advisor will land a position with a company that is growing significantly, holds an excellent reputation within their market and offers a wealth of career opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide 1st / 2nd line technical support for multiple on-site users
Ensure calls are answered and issues logged within the targets provided
Escalate issues according to client processes
Follow basic processes and diagnostics to establish problem and where possible provide the fix to resolution
Essential Skills:
Experienced within a commercial environment as a 1st Line Support Analyst/Helpdesk Advisor or similar
Excellent customer service ability and telephone manner
An understanding of Microsoft Office based systems
Strong verbal and written communication ability
Technically minded with the ability to learn bespoke applications
Ability to handle large workload and pressure
Desirable experience:
A broad technical understanding covering a variety of systems, including: C#, SQL, Network infrastructure and Windows OS
Experience within a software house that produces their own bespoke software
