1:1 Teaching Assistant

A Runcorn based Primary School, who are rated good by Ofsted, have asked that we source a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for the remainder of the academic year.

You will have be able to support the behavioural needs of the Year 1 child and will have previous SEMH experience. If you are Team Teach trained that would be a real bonus but this is not a pre-requisite for the role.

You will have varied techniques to ensure the engagement of the child and to help them to progress rowards expected attainment levels.

Ideally our 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have experience with any of the following:

• SEMH
• EBD and challenging behaviour,
• ASD,
• Learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, global delay)
• Physical difficulties.
