Support Worker required in Winwick. Complex needs. Immediate Start.
Your new company
Hays Social Care are currently recruiting on behalf of a health care provider as they require a support worker to work 1:1 with a client in Winwick.
Your new role
Being a support worker is not only about supporting people in day-to-day life it’s about encouraging independence, having fun and supporting care users to build up their confidence and self-esteem. You will be working 1:1 with a client in Winwick with complex needs. As you will be supporting complex needs it is imperative that you not only take an interest in the client’s hobbies, but ensure that they are safe, comfortable and happy at all times. You duties will include but are not limited too:
- Meal preparation & feeding
- Administering medication
- Personal Care i.e laundry, bedding, cleaning
- Toileting
- Washing
- Social interaction & companionship
Shifts
This client has 3 visit per week between 08:00 – 18:00 every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful with your application you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months referenceable experience in the care sector
- A willingness to learn
- A passion for helping others
- A kind, caring and compassionate nature
