1:1 Sen Teaching Assistant Role

MILK Education are currently experiencing a high demand for SEN Teaching assistants based in the Merseyside area. One of our clients, a large special needs school in Liverpool are currently looking for a qualified 1:1 teaching assistant for one of their pupils who has profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

This ideal candidate for this role will need to be warm, caring and patient. They are looking for someone who can join their knowledgeable support team. The following experience is a must;

• Experience in Tube Feeding
• Caring for an oxygen dependent child
• Personal care experience; Changing, toileting, etc.
• Competent in de-escalation techniques
• Strong work ethic willing to use a hands on approach

Desirable experience;

• Confident swimmer
• Good negotiation techniques
