1:1 Sen Teaching Assistant – Semh Provision – Primary School

Talent Recruitment are currently looking for a caring, passionate, and dedicated 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to work at one of our Ofsted rated outstanding Primary Schools based in East Manchester on a temp – perm contract. The role will be initially for 12 weeks through us, which will then lead to a full-time contract being offered through the school.

The Role

The role will be working within a Primary SEMH provision with pupils who have SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health). You will be working closely with students in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 on a 1:1 basis helping them overcome any difficulties or problems they may be facing. You will act as a mentor or a “go to person” for these children. This is a very rewarding role where you can see the differences you are making to a child’s learning and development each and every day.

The School

The school is Ofsted rated outstanding and is based in East Manchester where pupils come from mixed backgrounds and cultures. The headteacher is hugely supportive and is constantly looking at ways to improve staff performance through constant CPD training. This is a school that not many people leave once they are there.

Salary: £20,092 Pro Rata

Hours – 08.15 – 15.45
