1-1 Behavioural Support Tutor

A secondary school on the outskirts of Derby City Centre are looking for experienced Behavioural Mentors to join their team to support students who are at risk of exclusion.

The role would include;

– 1-1 tutoring
– Managing challenging behaviours in line with best practise
– Report writing
– Supporting with classroom needs
– Working under the class teacher to support set students
– Supporting behavioural needs inside and outside of the classroom
– Working with small groups of students who may need additional support.

Requirements

– A right to work in the UK
– Experience working with challenging behaviours
– Experience supporting SEMH students
– Experience within a secondary school setting
– A minimum of 2 references
– A clean DBS on the update service if possible
