Site Manager

Salary: £30 per hour

A bespoke new build in residential and commercial company are currently seeking a Site Manager and will suit someone with a carpentry background.
· Manage all on site aspects of the delivery of residential refurbishment projects and commercial new build projects in line with policies and procedures
· Fully understand the Scope of Works
· Fully appreciate how these works are to be delivered on site
· Fully appreciate the risks involved in delivery of the works & understand how these risks are being managed
· Oversee the site program including the sequencing of multiple trades
· Co-ordinate the day-to-day works on site
· Communication with the client as required
· Be responsible for H&S on site for operatives and sub-contractors, as well as the client and public
· Co-ordinate and communicate the above with the project manager and H&S manager
· Produce site paperwork on a daily basis
· Manage the project within the agreed timescale – communicating issues as they arise in a positive and timely manner and implementing the response to minimise disruption and delay/cost
· Participate in the liaison between all parties (client, statutory bodies, consultants, sub-contractors, operatives and management
· Manage resources to ensure projects are delivered in a safe and compliant manner
· Ensure adequate supply of materials and labour is available
· Regularly communicate progress / issues to senior management
· Take responsibility for ensuring the safety and welfare of all who enter the construction area
· Attend project site meetings and project management as required
The successful site manager will:-
· Be CIS registered
· Hold an appropriate SMSTS certificate or similar
· Hold a valid UK driving licence and have own transport

· Scaffold Management
· First Aid
· Driving Licence
