Our client a Yorkshire based Painting and Decorating contractor and have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Small works Contracts Manager.

This role is based in Leeds working out of their Hunslet office and covering projects across Yorkshire, Manchester and the Midlands and will be reporting direct to the senior contracts manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing multi Painting and Decorating packages up to a value of £20k, therefore you need to be experienced in the day to day running of jobs and it is essential that you hold a keen eye for detail and be an excellent time keeper.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for all aspects of snagging, liaising and checking over subcontract works, ensure the highest standards of H&S and be competent in producing snag lists.

Person Specification:

You will have a background in working with high spec projects and be able to directly manage the timely and high quality standards of work. You will be dynamic in your role and able to work both independently as well as with management.

• Exceptional man management skills are required, typically up to 4 decorators per site.
• Good Client Management skills
• Ability to program works and Materials
• Trade background plus 5 years’ experience in site and finishing.
• Adaptable to changing requirements.
• Experienced in managing packages to the value of £20k.
• Qualifications: SSSTS & CSCS. Recognised industry qualification, NVQ/City & Guilds
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
