Production Operative (Includes Weekend Work)

My Client, a Blue Chip manufacturing company based in Royston, Hertfordshire, was voted Britain’s most admired company for 2014/15. Due to ongoing success they are looking for production operatives to join their team.

Currently, my client is looking for people interested in working a rotating Day and Night shift that includes Weekend working This role has the potential of becoming permanent

The role starts out at £7.85 per hour at 38.75 hours per week for the first 12 weeks + a £47.06 weekly attendance bonus after the first week. After 12 weeks the salary goes up to £13.19 per hour + a £4.50 meal allowance per shift worked.

Week 1
Sunday 07:00 – 19:15; Monday 06:00 – 14:15; Tuesday 06:00 – 14:15; Friday 22:00 – 07:15; Saturday 19:00 – 07:15

Week 2
Sunday 19:00 – 06:15; Saturday 07:00 – 19:15

or

Week 1
Sunday 07:00 – 19:15; Friday 22:00 – 07:15; Saturday 19:00 – 07:15

Week 2
Sunday 19:00 – 06:15, Thursday 06:00 – 14:15, Friday 06:00 – 14:15, Saturday 07:00 – 19:15

Duties Include:

End of line packing
Checking pallets across the lines and moving them as necessary
Collecting full pallets from the warehouse
Checking pallet numbers off against paperwork
Use of washing database and movement of tubs to and from lines
Data entry
Loading and unloading machines and boxes
Labelling
Quality controlExperience/Skills required:

Basic computer skills
Previous experience working in a production environment
Good communication skills
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Happy to work shifts
All workers have to pass a security check
Due to shift hours, there is no public transport to site, you will have to have your own transport or live locallyBenefits Include:
