BMS Commissioning Engineers

Location: South
Salary: Senior – up to �42k, Intermediate – up to �34k (depending on experience)

Role:You will be required to have a proven ability in the commissioning of all aspects of HVAC and BMS Control and Building Management Systems and will be required to undertake BMS commissioning projects of your own. Together with the BMS Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for the successful commissioning of various projects in the UK, with your main focus on BMS projects within the Southern half of the country.
Liaise regularly with the Commissioning Manager and work closely with the individual Project Managers, Design and Technical staff.

Specifically you will have a sound electrical knowledge and additionally able to work on all aspects of PC based solutions; currently utilising the BacNet solutions together with third party interfaces such as Modbus, M-Bus, EIB etc. you will be familiar with all standard BMS controls philosophies and able to offer working solutions to non standard applications.

* Undertake efficient site commissioning and related tasks
* Support Commissioning Engineers
* Liaise positively and effectively with clients and staff at all times
* Liaise closely with Commissioning Managers to ensure commissioning deadlines are met
* Assess task durations required and notify Commissioning Manager
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy
* Ensure BMS project commissioning documentation is returned and archived

You will be required to have a proven ability in the commissioning of all aspects of HVAC

* Able to modify electrical circuits if necessary
* Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
* Ability to read technical data
* Ability to read schedules
* Ability to work on live panels
* Knowledge of single and 3 phase motors
* Knowledge of HVAC
* Knowledge of heating and cooling systems
* Knowledge of mechanical ventilation
* Ability to read software strategies
* Ability to write software strategies
* Knowledge of ModBus, MBus, BACNet
* Ability to liaise with clients and demonstrate complete systems
* Ability to train customers on complete systems
* Ability to write detailed reports
* Good time keeper
* Able to work unsupervised

Good lines of communication will be required to be maintained at all times with internal staff and clients alike.
