Driver’s Escort / Carer

To Work for a Local Authority, to assist with the transportation of clients to and from the Day Centre, providing assistance before, during and after their journey such as:- Ensuring that the client’s dwelling is left safe and secure, pushing clients who are wheelchair bound to/from vehicle, checking,with the assistance of the driver, that wheelchair clamps, lap straps etc are securely in place, reporting any changes in a client’s emotional or physical needs which become apparent during the journey, to travel for the complete journey from the first stop until the last client has alighted, ensuring that when the client is returned home they are comfortable and not left at risk. This is to work a split shift Mornings/Afternoons and will be around the Borough Solihull a current DBS ill be needed
