HGV 1 Driver

Salary: £19.2 – £21.6 per hour

We at Allied Recruitment are pleased to offer this ongoing Class 1 work opportunity for LTD registered drivers.

ALS – a company based in Woodham, Buckinghamshire (HP18 0QE) is currently expanding its operation and requires drivers to fill new positions.

In this role, you will be visiting large distribution centres and diaries across the UK delivering/collecting milk or empty milk cages or occasional pallet load. Work consists mostly of trunking with some depots asking for assistance when unloading, or reloading empty cages. There is no multidrop. However, routes are joined together meaning an average of 12h+ work days. That presents challenges with tacho management and timing second driving or working time brake in order to avoid infringements. As such it suits more experienced drivers, with a minimum of 2 years of Class 1 experience.

Weekend work is essential. We are looking for AM and PM starters. Whatever your situation please give us a call. We have routes going out at every time of day and night and can work around your limitations like partner’s work, school days ETC
