Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year

Anderson Knight are working exclusively in partnership with an award winning global business to recruit a HR Coordinator, on a full time permanent basis. The role is based at one of the clients sites on the outskirts of Glasgow, the operational hours are Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant who is ready to progress in their career, particularly looking for more exposure into employee relations and hands on involvement with generalist HR Activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • As the site’s standalone HR contact you will provide first line advice and guidance around 80 colleagues
  • Take responsibility for the HR System, ensuring all new starts and leavers are added and removed correctly
  • Liaise with payroll ensuring necessary changes are made in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support line managers with training on right to work checks
  • Advise management and employees on HR policies and procedures via telephone, email, face to face.
  • Raise any complex ER issues with the HR Business Partner / HR Advisers
  • Issue all Investigation & Disciplinary letters
  • Attend disciplinary & grievance meetings, supporting the HR Business Partner by note taking as appropriate
  • Employee lifecycle administration from new starts to leavers
  • Carry out the onboarding and induction processes for new starts
  • Identify vacancies as part if the leavers process
  • Advise line managers on recruitment best practice

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Good standard of education including 5 Highers / GCSE or equivalent, including Math’s and English
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately input high volumes of data
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Experience of working in a fast paced HR Department
  • Understanding of UK employment law
