Assistant Catering Manager

Due to internal reorganisation, we are looking for experienced Assistant Catering Managers to join a committed team, working in two separate sites on the outskirts of Kendal.

Due to location, your own transport is essential.

These new positions have been created to provide support and valuable assistance to the Catering Managers. You will assist in the smooth running of the catering departments and provide supervision and support to the catering team leaders and their individual teams.

This is a varied; hands on role and you will get involved in all areas of catering management including training and development of teams, delivery of excellent customer service, maintenance and improvement of standards and the financial performance of the department. You will also deputise for the Catering Manager in their absence.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Proven experience, working in a Catering or Retail Catering supervisory role.
– Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
– Competent IT user with experience of using Microsoft Office
– A Catering qualification would be advantageous
