Associate Director – Leading Interior Design Practice

An industry leading interior design and architectural studio is currently looking to appoint an Associate Director to supervise and lead an existing team of designers and architects. Their current portfolio of projects are all predominantly luxury environments including residential, hospitality and leisure spaces. This client’s name is assigned to various projects both in the UK and worldwide.

By adopting an Associate Director role, you must possess a wealth of experience within the design industry ranging from the technical and creative elements through to project management and team supervision. You will be confident leading projects from inception through to completion and in line with proposed schedules and budget constraints. You will also be used to managing and mentoring a large team of both designers and architects. Significant experience working within the residential sector will be crucial, whilst experience within the leisure and hospitality sector will be beneficial. An in-depth and practiced approach to management will also be key as this role will play a pivotal part in the smooth and effective running of the business. It will report to the Company Directors and current Associates.

Other responsibilities and requirements include:
* Overseeing projects to ensure deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to and standards are high
* Leading weekly team meetings and ensuring team members have a comprehensive understanding of the tasks ahead
* Liaising with the Office Manager
* Sustaining existing client relationships whilst also generating new business
* Supervising final delivery on site
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation
* Attend networking events in order to promote the brand and generate new projects

Please note that candidates must have a minimum of 10 years UK experience working within a high end architectural and design practice.
