AutoCAD / CAD Operator

AutoCAD Engineer/ AutoCAD Technician / AutoCAD Operator

We now require a CAD operator on a 6 months contract to assist in the preparation and production of CAD and company documentation. Based in London reporting to the CAD Manager.

Key Tasks;

·Create CAD cabling drawings calculating cable lengths and outlets
·Updating existing CAD drawings to include information and changes
obtained from site.
·Catalogue drawings using the Drawings Database
·Tender documentation support
·Liaise with the Project Manager and CAD Manager regarding
information to be included in the final documentation.
·Gather all the information, including data sheets, summary report of
test results and a copy on disk, CAD Drawing, Certificates, title pages and other information.

Essential;

· 3 years or more experience of AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
·Knowledge of Photoshop/Coreldraw
·Knowledge of Visio
·Hold good administrative skills
·Must have PC skills including MS Office
·Excel spreadsheet knowledge imperative
·Work to tight time-scales with minimal supervision
·Knowledge of the building industry regarding cabling
