Field Sales Executive – BDM

Established in 1978; our client offers an extensive range of disposable paper supplies and products, hardware and chemical cleaning products to a wide variety of businesses, government bodies and industries. In the last 10 years the company has increased turnover by more than 350% to 9 million and now currently occupies premises more than 32,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Our client is committed to supplying their clients with the very best cleaning and hygiene products whilst still caring for the environment.

Due to growth our client is now looking to recruit a “Field Sales Executive” to concentrate on new business within the South Midlands, West Midlands, Staffs, Warwickshire and Home Counties geographical patch. The predominate focus will be to sell the clients product range into the commercial contract cleaning market whilst increasing brand awareness. The role will be based from home and the main route to market will be self-generating using in-house databases, local intelligence and referral business. You will be required to penetrate the territory using all new business methodologies including telemarketing, direct cold calling, networking and referrals.

The ideal candidate will be from a similar background although this is not a pre-requisite for the role; you must have excellent rapport building skills; be extremely driven and organised, hungry for new business with a tenacious personality. You will have experience in cold calling and going after new business, confident presentation skills and used to liaising with other departments to maximise opportunities. In return you will receive a basic salary of up to £42,000plus an excellent uncapped commission structure; company car and corporate benefits.
