Bilingual Credit Controller

Our multi national company within the technology sector who has an enviable International client base as seeking a UK based Credit Control Manager.

It is expected that applications will come from experienced, driven, graduate level and knowledgeable Credit Controllers who are fluent in both English and at least one other European language, who will take full responsibility for up to 500 European accounts and a portfolio of up to £3 million.

This is a stand alone position and requires a self motivated “go-getter” who has a passion to succeed!

Duties:
Responsible for the management of 300-500 European accounts, with a value of £2,000,000 – £3,000,000
Review Letters of Credit for accuracy as well as ensuring the required documentation is received and provided to the customer in a timely manner, along with ensuring they are secured for payment before the expiration date
Set up and maintain Customer Master files using Oracle, working alongside head office to set up credit limits and agree trading terms
Responsible for collection calls for specific territory as defined
Review and release orders as required
Prepare and coordinate prepayment invoices as required
Reconcile customer accounts are required
Participate and provide required updates and information for Debtors meetings
Assist with the month end process as directed
This position requires travel at least twice per year, initially this will be more frequent during initial training

Essential skills:
Applicants must be fluent both verbally and written in English and one or more of the following languages: French, German, Spanish or Italian
Must have previous proven Credit Control experience at stand alone, senior level
Must be prepared to travel outside the UK as required by the business
