Salary: £60,000 – £64,800 per year
One of the top property consultancies on the planet is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Lead for a major Investment Bank in Farringdon.
This role is for an Electrical Maintenance Shift Lead who has been working in a critical enviroment dealing with extensive planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance experience on Plant Room, Air Handling Units, pumps, water systems, critical services and other electrical services.
As an experienced Electrical maintenance shift lead you will be responsible for:
* The Electrical Shift Lead will make sure the maintenance, repair and minor works associated with critical, essential, and non-essential assets in accordance with relevant job plans are carried out to satisfactory level.
* As an Electrical Shift Lead you will ensure that sub-contractors perform to meet the requirement of the contract. Administer sub-contractor work approvals and safe operation while repair or service is carried out on site.
* Following maintenance risk assessments on all work activity ensuring safe systems of work are always adhered to
* Ensuring all plant rooms and workspaces are always maintained and kept in a safe condition
* Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
* To develop a good working relationship with all members of OGS staff, subcontractors and the client representatives.
* You will ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI’s/SLA’s.
* Reporting / escalating all out of line situations, including Near-Miss & Accident Reporting

Qualification and Skills:
* Qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer (C&G, NVQ, Apprenticeship, HNC, HND)
* 17th / 18th Edition Qualified
* Good Technical Skills
* Must have experience working on critical services
* Time served dealing with HV / AP
* You must have good communication skills as you will be working closely with the client, internal and external people
* You will have strong knowledge of Reactive and Preventative Planned Maintenance
As the Electrical maintenance shift lead you will be joining a multi skilled maintenance team and working continental shift pattern Days/Nights – 4 on 4 off, 6 on 6 off.
