An exciting opportunity for an experienced Cook/Chef in our care facility in Westerhope, Newcastle.
The successful candidate will cook appealing and nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner from scratch. Current menus are regularly rotated but the cook must have the capability to adapt to off-menu preferences, requests or any special dietary requirements.
Cooks will be required to maintain stock levels, cook homely nutritional meals, keep the kitchen immaculately clean and tidy maintain cleaning schedules that meet the requirements of the HACCP Manual. You will receive assistance with regard to dishes etc, but all kitchen checks will be your responsibility.
Experience is preferred but full training will be given for food and hygiene and the relevant courses needed
