Corecom Consulting are on the lookout for a permanent Network and Security Infrastructure Analyst for a market leading multinational company based in North Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an organisation that invests resources into creating a dynamic team. Having recently employed one of the country’s technology innovators, the company has an exciting future instore with a large project planned this year.

The successful Network and Security Infrastructure Analyst will expect to provide an expert technical infrastructure service extending from solutions architecture and design, through to implementation, configuration, support and documentation of Infrastructure Solutions, in a company that is not afraid to surpass limitations with technology. You will provide specialist technical knowhow to both existing and new projects, as well as offering technical design and solutions for new technologies.

The Network and Security Infrastructure Analyst should have the following skill set:

Essential Skills:

Broad knowledge of Internet Protocols
Network Monitoring Tools
Cisco Switching & Routing configuration and management
Proficient in communication protocols, data and network security
In depth knowledge of system integration, client/server architecture, distributed processing, and connectivity solutions
Awareness of Checkpoint Firewall/VPN technologies
Understanding of MPLS Networking principles
IP routing skills
Proficient documentation skills
Knowledge of network encryption techniques (IPSEC)
Global WAN support experience
Quality of Service
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux (Solaris/RedHat)Desirable Skills:

Fortinet Firewall experience
Proxy Appliance and tools (Websense)
Portable client encryption tools (Checkpoint Endpoint Security)
Remote access (RSA SecureID server management, Checkpoint Endpoint VPN)
Experience of VoIP design principles and constraints
Experience in security event monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention
Vulnerability assessment and management tools (Penetration testing internal/external, Nessus)
1x principles and Network Access ControlThe successful Network and Security Infrastructure Analyst can expect to earn an excellent salary of up to £42,000 – £54,000dependent on experience and has an extremely attractive £2500 of flexible benefits.
